her party is on the 15th so i still have some time to think about what i want to do. i need something that is inexpensive and kid friendly because i also have a three year old and there will be 2 or three other little ones there. the theme is ladybugs.
any ideas?
You could do cupcakes that have red icing with little black spots. Look in the cake decorating section for different types of sprinkles & premade icing, different food colouring to give you inspiration.
Of course you could do a round cake as the ladybug with licorise legs & decorations-
Fairy bread- You could use a egg ring to cut the bread into circles & use black or red ladybug food ideassprinkle.
a fruit platter so there is something healthy.
General party food like little frankfurts, partypies, sausage rolls etc can all be put on plates that match your theme, say black & red.... or with a table decoration in the centre of platters (get a little gift bag, put foam in it & a coloured rod then attach semi blown red & black baloons to the top with celophane & curling ribbon) they look great then you could do normal food & just match the table decorations....
You could make merangues with red food coluring & as you put them to cook add smarty eyes & freekle spots as lady bugs, they end up embeddeladybug food ideasd in the top of the merangue. look cute
& marsh mellows would also match

Ohhhh & you can also match looly bag for the older kids to take home with a beetle toy, maybe a cupcake, a red baloon & a black curly straw or something

What about cupcakes decorated like ladybugs (red icing and 拙克力 buttons)? You could get your 3 yr old to help decorate so they feel involved.. - we do that a lot with older siblings!!
