Is this a technical problem Firefox has been experiencing? This also has happened with my Desktop as well and it's in good condition. I switched back to Firefox 3.6 and it works normally when asking questions.
It could be a compatibility issue. Since it's not even out yet, I don't think most websites are optimized for it. I am currently using "Internet Explorer 9 beta". Even though it's a mozilla firefox 9.0beta, I haven't experienced any problems. Maybe, you should give that a try. I can't wait for the final versions of both IE9 and FireFox 4 to be released. It's going to be big.
Google chrome is better. ive stopped using firefox because of the many errors. Ever since ive used google chrome its never had a hiccup. Wayy better browser than internet explorer and firefox combined.

well combatibility issues arise from beta versions of ANYTHING...
i reccommend chrome/firefox since ie gives me so much crap
I never install anything with Beta version as it still in development stage in which still plenty of bugs to be resolves
internet explorer does the same thing, i had to use goggle chrome cause firefox was freezing on me too
